Unfortunately our lovely flatmate Hannah is leaving to move in with her 'Bestie'..!!! But we are excited to have the opportunity to welcome a new flatmate. Its a modest but clean and friendly flat. So if you are looking for a great double room, exceptional value, fantastic location with 'awesome' flatmates.... Look no further...!!! Hehe. We are currently looking for a female to maintain an existing dynamic, sorry chaps.
Its a great double room....a bargain.... Only £700 per month rent + bills.... in Zone 2.... it's an absolute steal for London in this area...!!! The room is fully furnished, with a 2 set sofa, desk, chest of drawers, and a huge closet. The bed mattress was replaced last year, so almost like new. The flat is modest, but clean and in good condition, we like to keep it nice and clean, its easy to look after. All major appliance have been replaced or new within last 2 yrs, including, washing machine Fridge/freezer, oven and hob. There is no living room, but a nice breakfast bar in kitchen, and double rooms all with sofa, so easy to have guests over for a nice chilled evening of food and wine. ;). Its very comfy. We have significant storage space in hallway for other items like suitcase or even bike.
Location is awesome...! 5min walk to Holloway road station, Picadilly line, Zone 2. Everywhere in Zone 1 and 2 is accessible within 10 to 20 mins, only two stops to Kings Cross, and Islington, Camden, Highgate are only a 5 to 10 min bus ride away. Its a great area, lots great pubs/bars and restaurants in the area. Some lovely parks near by, Clissold Park, Highbury Park, Finsbury Park all near by, 'roll on Spring/summer hey'.... So many great supermarkets, a cinema Odeon near by, lots to do. it really is one of the best, most accommodating and convenient areas in London. I often commute to Farringdon, less than 25mins on tube, door to door. Oxford street and central london maybe 20 to 25 mins max. Great for shopping and nits out. Its fantastic.
Our landlord is a retired gent, super nice guy, and always avail when needed but we rarely need to contact him.
So let's get down to the details.
The room will be available from 1st or 14th Feb. depend on Hannah moving out, so we'd like to get you in asap but we can organise that later. Latest would be 14th Feb though.
You would share with Joanna and myself. Joanna is so lovely, she's a fancy pastry chef from Sweden, and works in an exclusive hotel/restaurant in London. We are both very busy, but when can, we but enjoy a nit in, with texmex, a little drink and some chitchat together. We'd like our new flatmate to enjoy an evening together with us once in awhile. I myself, work in architecture and Interior Design. We are both two very easy going, friendly professionals. We are looking for someone to fit nicely into the new dynamic of the flat. We have a simple cleaning rota that kept our modest flat clean, tidy and homely. We would welcome a professional female 20's/30 something to come join us.
The flat neighbours the Emirates Stadium, I'm not a supporter but match days are fun, the supporters are very well behaved because it is always well organised and there is a good police presence to keep them in line. I have lived here now for over 5 years and never seen any football related issues or anything else for that matter.
Additional monthly bills include, council tax, water, electric, and internet. approx £100 to £125. in total. No gas.... All elec. The contract is annual, are next renewal is October, so we would like for the new flatmate to stay till then minimum and then we can renew the contract in October, but if for any reason you need to move on we can organise letting you room out to a new person with just 4 weeks notice, like we are doing now. Demand is high, The rooms are very easy to let.
The flat is in a 60's block. Slightly dated appearance but new lifts and new fire doors installed recently. The building is well maintained, communal areas are cleaned daily, very secure with fob entry. The flat neighbours the Hornsey main road and is very safe and secure. I have lived here now for over five years with no issues whosoever. There is always plenty foot fall in the area, so you never get caught on a lonely road late at night.
New Flatmate:
We are looking for an easy going professional female in their 20's or 30's who wants to share our modest but clean home. We are looking for somone thats wants to live in a nice 'home' that likes to do 'their own thing' but wants to be social from time to time too. I have been lucky to have had some great flatmates the last two to three years and want to create another nice home for all.
We would prefer no 'live-in' couples, but guests, boyfriends or girlfriends are all very welcome, just not full time live in partners.
It is a very nice room, in a very nice flat, with a great location..... an absolute bargain price for the area and location....!.
