Description
I’m looking for someone to join me in my lovely 2-bedroom flat just off Holloway Road (N7). The flat has a calm, friendly atmosphere and suits someone who is looking for a peaceful home where people are considerate of each other and occasionally enjoy sharing a meal or a chat.
The Room
The room is small but well arranged and cosy. It has a comfortable double bed, built-in storage, and a foldable desk, which works well if you occasionally need to work or study from home. There is also space for an additional wardrobe just outside the room in the corridor, so storage should not be an issue.
The Flat
* Bright and comfortable living room
* Sunny terrace, nice for morning coffee or an evening drink
* Fully equipped kitchen
* Well connected area, close to shops, cafés, and excellent public transport
About the Household
I’m a queer creative (he/him) working as a video editor, filmmaker, and events organiser. The flat is queer-friendly and respectful of all identities. I enjoy occasional shared meals or a glass of wine, but I also really value quiet time and a calm home environment.
Because the flat is shared and not large enough for completely independent living, it’s important that we are mindful of each other’s space, routines, and movements in the house. Cleanliness and order are important, as well as keeping shared areas tidy and maintaining a respectful level of quiet, especially during evenings and early mornings.
Visits from friends are absolutely fine, but we would need to coordinate them in advance and make sure we both feel comfortable with it.
I’m also keen to live with someone who has a sense of initiative and shared responsibility—someone who takes pride in the space, contributes to keeping the home and terrace pleasant, and enjoys the idea of maintaining and gradually improving the place together.
Who I’m Looking For
Ideally, I’m looking for a male professional who is respectful, open-minded, and comfortable living in a queer-friendly household. Being LGBTQ-friendly and generally considerate of different identities and ways of living is important.
A good sense of cleanliness and shared responsibility is essential—someone who naturally keeps things tidy, respects common spaces, and understands the balance between independence and shared living. It would suit someone who values a calm environment, communicates well, and is mindful of noise and routines.
Ideally you work outside the home most days, although occasional working from home is absolutely fine.
If this sounds like a good fit, feel free to get in touch to arrange a viewing or ask any questions.
