Description

Hello! I have a double bedroom available in our house from October 1st. You’ll be sharing with just one other person – me. I’m Al, 37, and I work in the film industry.

I’m looking for someone who’s clean, tidy and respectful. Ideally, you enjoy a chat in the evenings but also value your own space. If you’re tired of the usual flatshare rat race and want somewhere peaceful and easygoing, this could be a good fit.

THE BEDROOM
The room is on the top floor of the house and has a modern look with white walls and vinyl flooring. It gets loads of natural light thanks to large windows on one side, and lockable French doors on the other. These open onto your own private roof terrace, which comes with a table and chairs. The room is unfurnished.

THE HOUSE
The house is spread over four levels and feels spacious throughout. There’s a modern open-plan kitchen with a breakfast bar and two fridges, plus a living room that opens onto a sunny balcony. Downstairs, there’s a large storage area which is great for keeping suitcases or anything bulky out of the way. The bathroom is shared and includes both a bath and shower.

There is a large shared spare room with a double bed and a desk – ideal for working from home, having guests over, or using as a place to dry clothes or do some exercise. It also has its own en-suite shower and sink, plus a big storage cupboard. If you prefer, we can chat about using this room as your bedroom, although I think the other room is the nicer option. Happy to discuss at a viewing.

The house is part of a private courtyard set back from Holloway Road, with secure key fob entry and an intercom system. It’s quiet at night and feels very safe. There’s also a secure bike shed available for residents.

AREA
The location is great – Holloway Road has everything you need. There’s a large Waitrose and Morrisons just a 5-minute walk away, plus a small Sainsbury’s right across the street. You’ll find a PureGym and Odeon cinema nearby, along with loads of cafes, restaurants and pubs within walking distance. If you’re after green space, Hampstead Heath, Clissold Park and Highbury Fields are all close by.

TRANSPORT
Transport links are excellent. You can get to the Victoria, Piccadilly, Northern lines and the Overground in 10–20 minutes on foot, or even faster by bus.

RENT & BILLS
Rent is £1000 per month, and bills come to around £190 each per month, which covers council tax, electricity, water, TV licence and broadband. The deposit is five weeks’ rent, and new tenants will need to provide references etc. Our letting agent is fantastic – always quick to respond if anything needs sorting.
