Our home is modern and comfortable high end 2nd floor apartment (with lift) minutes away from Holloway Road tube station (Zone 2, Piccadilly Line). It is nestled within a friendly, secure gated development.
We spend a lot of time up north with family and are looking for a lodger to look after our home.
We can offer:
* A spacious double room with King Bed furnished with bedside tables, a chest of drawers and 3 built in wardrobes.
* a stunning private ensuite bathroom with rainfall shower, heated towel rail and underfloor heating.
* Full access to the shared open plan kitchen/living room with neff kitchen appliances, breakfast bar, dining table and a communal workstation with extra screen and standing desk functionality.
* Excellent transport connections- walking distance from Highbury and Islington (Victoria and Overground) and Drayton Park (Great Northern Moorgate to Hertford/Welling Garden City Line)
* All bills and council tax are included in the rent.
* We are flexible with move in dates and are open to short term agreements.
To be aware of:
* The Emirates stadium (Arsenal) is at the end of our street and our street becomes pedestrianised for Home Games
*It would suit a professional with an office to work from during the week as building work noise is likely between 8.30am and 3pm Monday to Friday.
No building work occurs during the evenings or weekends.
About Us
* We are Kat and Ian, a couple (40s) who want to keep a London base but will be away a lot.
*When we're in town we like to play netball, go to the gym, eat good food in restaurants and hang out with friends.
*Ian works in IT and Kat juggles a lot of logistics!
We imagine the dynamic most likely to lead to successful sharing is a relaxed professional who is considerate in the kitchen with timings, mess and happy to join in with occasional shared meals (Kat loves cooking and any form of pasta, Ian hates onions!)
And someone whose TV tastes include HBO dramas, wholesome comedies, suspenseful films and who won't spoil an ending (we're often behind!)
In return we'll be considerate of the fact it will be your home most of the time. rent will include all bills incl TV subscriptions. It can be a flexible rental agreement with equal notice period to be agreed.
We can be flexible on move in date but ideally would like someone by end of September. Rent is also negotiable.

*Covering household costs
*A flexible agreement both parties are happy with.
