Double room available off Well Street

Hello hello hello!

We’ve got a large double room becoming available from January 19th, and we’d love to welcome a woman aged 30+ to move in!

Our house is located just off Well Street, a few steps from Well Street Market with its coffee shops, pizza place, Tesco, fish and chips shop, and more. We’re 7 minutes from Homerton Station and about a 13-minute brisk walk to Hackney Central. Victoria Park is just around the corner, which is always a bonus. If you don’t know the area, it’s pretty great!

We are a house of 5 (including you) – 3 guys and 1 woman – which is why we’re looking for another woman to balance things out.

The room is located in the semi-basement of a Victorian three-story house. It’s the biggest room in the house and very quiet. Please note that we don’t have a living room, but as a result, the rent is relatively cheaper compared to other places. However, we do have a lovely backyard, which is perfect for sunny days. The house has two bathrooms, and the kitchen serves as our communal area.

Even though it sounds like a lot of people, it works well! There’s never a rush for the shower in the morning or chaos at dinnertime – we’re considerate and accommodate one another.

The room is furnished with a double bed and mattress, futon, shelves and desk. If you have your stuff it's totally cool too as we can get rid the the lot.

We’re looking for a woman, ideally in her mid-thirties, so we’re all on the same wavelength. We’re civilised adults, so no hosting 25 people on a Tuesday night (or any other night!). You’re welcome to have friends over for dinner occasionally, but please, no parties.

We’re mindful of each other’s space and do our best to keep the house clean and comfortable.
The Details:

Rent: £735, payable on the last day of the month (includes all bills: internet, hot water, gas, and electricity).
Deposit: One month’s rent in advance.
