Double room in Hackney garden house

Hello,

I am looking for someone to replace me in our four-bed house in Homerton as I will be sadly moving out after almost 4 years although I am staying in the area.

The house is in a private mews with only five other houses. It has two gardens (front and back) and has a spiral staircase joining the upstairs and downstairs. The house allows for a lot of natural light, and there’s a separate living room and kitchen. We all cycle and there is ample space for bike storage in the garden. The flat is equal distance from Chatsworth Road, Hackney Wick, and Victoria Park which is great for walks and runs. We are also about 10 minutes from the canal and Hackney marshes.

I have loved living here and as we are all friends, it is an easy-going, upbeat household where we all have separate lives but love to spend time cooking together or watching tv at home or down the local pubs (Kenton, Chesham Arms, Adam and Eve all on our doorstep). The current flatmates are Nia, Rose and Rosie. We’re aged 32 to 36 and are looking for someone similar aged to us and preferably female. Rosie works in fashion production, Rose works in Events and Nia works in Marketing. There’s a mix of home and office working, and the house accommodates well for this set-up.

We’re all quite relaxed with a similar attitude toward communal cleaning and up-keep. We really care about the space we live in so bonus if you’re into gardening, home décor, plant care, or any other creative DIY. We have shared interests in crafting, pottery, films, music and cooking, and have regular shared meals, craft nights, and cine-club, among other things. We are keen for someone like minded to join to keep up the friendly atmosphere.

The available room is quite big, is unfurnished and has space for a double bed, along with a desk/wardrobe/drawers (roughly 4.5m x 2m). It’s a ground floor room with view of the back garden and the rent is £892, not including bills (water, electric, gas, council tax, internet and tv license). There is a reference check and a deposit required.
