Two double bedrooms up for grabs in lovely, modern Homerton flat, right around the corner from the Overground (Mildmay line) and about a 10-minute walk from Victoria Park. Move in from 10th January ideally, though can be a bit flexible here for the right people.
Room 1 - large double with en suite - £1,200/month
Room 2 - small double - £950/month
Bills (energy, water, council tax, internet) are on top of these amounts and currently around £130/month, though they have historically fluctuated a little.
I'm looking to replace my two flatmates who are moving on after 2.5 years together - one is off to Australia and the other is moving home. The flat is really lovely, with a huge living space joined on to the kitchen. There's ample space for bikes in the hallway and lots of storage. We have our own private garden and a larger communal one behind that. The small double could fit a desk in with a bit of manoeuvring or we could be creative with using other space in the flat.
About me - I'm Matt and I'm a 28 y/o gay man. I'm fairly easy-going and respectful, tidy, and so on. I am a civil servant and work a mix from home and in the office. I like running, the sauna, being outdoors, going to the cinema, hanging out with my partner and friends and family, all the usual stuff.
Am looking for two nice people to share the space with. LGBT+ individuals very welcome but by no means a prerequisite, I just want to live with people who are easy to be around and calm and clean. Be nice if we hung out a bit but am fine if it's a little transactional tbh.
Rent is currently £3,100 a month but landlord is having the flat valued so it may increase, I should know very soon. Will update the listing if that ends up happening.
I'd quite like to get all of this wrapped up before Christmas, so please do get in touch if you're interested in the flat and we can try to arrange a viewing and chance to meet.
