Hello! 🙋‍♀️

We are looking for a calm and kind person to join our sunny home in Homerton, just north of Victoria Park. The room is a small cosy furnished room (double bed and wardrobe). The apartment is a maisonette, so all but one bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. The living area is an open plan kitchen and living room, with a south facing balcony. You can see from the pictures that the apartment is well looked after and is really comfortable and homely. The hob is gas and the oven is electric. There are two fridges and freezers and lots of cupboard space. There is gas central heating and a nice hot shower with good water pressure. We have a good washing machine and also a tumble dryer. The building is a local authority building- the neighbours are mostly families. The street is quiet, with views to the trees of Victoria Park. There is a little shop nearby, with Homerton shops and facilities and supermarkets a 10 minute walk. Homerton overground station is a 6 minute walk and trains run frequently and connect to underground in just a few stops.

Please note that the room has limited desk space. As such, it will not be suitable for those who work from home frequently and require a more dedicated workspace.

We are looking for a clean, non-smoking professional housemate. We work in conservation, film & television and finance. We’re usually pretty chilled during the week, but more social on weekends. Everyone in the flat gets on well, and we occasionally head out for a meal or a drink together. We’d love to find someone who shares that kind of friendly, relaxed vibe.

The rent for the room is £700. Plus £90 for bills. The £90 for bills includes gas, electric, water, council tax, wifi.

We all have individual contracts with the landlord. Deposit is one month's rent . Rent and bills need to be transferred each month so that they are received by the 1st of each month. The landlord will ask for a reference and confirmation from your employer and identification .
