This is a furnished double bedroom available in a 3 bedroom top-floor flat with splendid views of the Olympic Park and Canary Wharf. The block, built in 2012, is secure with a key fob entry system and lift security codes. The apartment is right next to Homerton overground station giving it excellent transport links.
The room has its own access to an adjacent bathroom with bath. It comes with shared use of a large dining/living room area with balcony and kitchen (with dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer). Bikes unfortunately cannot be stored in the flat (unless kept in the rented room); there is bike storage on the ground floor if required.
I am a live-in landlord and university lecturer. I work from home most days (about 3-4 days per week) with early starts. It's a laid back flat with quiet weekday evenings and the odd weekend social. I am therefore looking for someone who has similar working hours, considerate and easy going. A cleaner attends every two weeks but tidiness is important for me so I'm looking for a flatmate who is happy to keep things as clean and tidy as they are found (especially the communal areas).
To help save time, I will suggest an initial video call as introduction to the flat and then an in-person viewing if we both feel it has potential.
