Bright & airy room in friendly house, Honor Oak

Hi all,

We are two friends who have recently secured a lovely house a few minutes walk away from Honor Oak park overground station on a quiet, residential road, half an hour walk from Brockley. I think there is free parking outside the house for anyone who may drive. The house is light, bright, with lovely wood floorboards and original fireplaces. It has two living rooms (amazing for london), a large (relatively) garden with room for veg patches, and a reasonable bathroom and kitchen. We will make an effort to decorate it and make it feel cosy I am sure. The reason we are looking for an extra person is because unfotunately our third friend had to drop out due to unforseen circumstances.

The room on offer is £700 per month excluding bills. It has a big window allowing for lots of natural light and built in shelves. We were told the previous tenants managed to fit a double bed in there but as the room is on the smaller side, perhaps it could be better suited for a 3/4 bed or a single.

We are looking for someone who would fit in well with the house and want to be part of a relaxed, homey atmosphere. For example, someone who may enjoy food, cooking, popping to the pub, and chatting. But also I imagine someone who has their own thing going on so we do not get in each others pockets too much! Basically easy going and respectful :) Usual house share stuff.
