Hi - we’re Thea (she/her) and Okala (he/him), a couple in our mid-30s and we’re looking to let out a fully furnished bedroom in our peaceful and calm first floor flat in Honor Oak Park. Move in date, anytime between the 20th and 29th January.

*A bit about us* Thea is a full-time dance lecturer and completing a PhD in decolonising immersive practices. Okala is a writer of speculative fiction, works in literary marketing and plays in a post-punk band. We have a sweet little rescue dog called Luna, who’s very quiet and calm and mainly lives for cuddles. We like to keep the flat clean and tidy, but are also relaxed about when what gets done. We are trans-inclusive and active in social justice. As people of colour, we are looking for folks with similar views of tolerance and inclusion.

*A bit about you* We’re looking for someone who is 30 years+ who works full-time - both essential criteria that we have found works well for the balance of the flat. Whilst we enjoy the occasional flat film/meal, our home is really an important place for us to chill and focus on our lives away from work, so we’re looking for a fellow introvert who also needs the same personal space from their home environment. A bit about the room The room is a cute cosy double that comes fully furnished A beautiful fresh light bedroom with wooden floors excellent storage and a desk.

*A bit about the flat* The flat has a communal living room / dining room, kitchen with breakfast bar and a small communal study with a spare single bed for guests. We have a sunny shared garden backing onto the woodlands of One Tree Hill. We are a 6 minute walk from Honor Oak Park Station and have a bus stop directly outside the flat that connects with Brixton, Peckham, Lewisham, and beyond! Move in date anytime between the 30th November - 9th December. Rent is £650 pcm + bills (currently £120pcm). Deposit is also £650.
I'm the landlady so no extra costs and also, I'm happy for you to sublet the room if you go away for up to 4 weeks, provided we're all happy with the subletter.
