Double room in Honor Oak in friendly home

3 month tenancy until 5th March (name change on contract, all OK with landlord)
Then 12 month (most likely) fixed tenancy from 5th March
£640 excluding bills (around £85-£100 depending on season)

Hello! We’re looking for a third flatmate to fill a room in our lovely flat. You’ll be sharing with Tamsin and myself (27/28). We currently both work part-time - Tamsin in media, me as a library assistant. We’re looking for someone who is a similar age, friendly, clean and tidy, and respectful of space and shared areas, and someone who can contribute to our lovely home environment. The flat is on the first floor, accessible by stairs, and there are also a couple of steps between the living room and the rest of the flat.

Our flatmate is moving out and our landlord has agreed to change the name on our current 12-month contract for the new tenant. The current contract runs until March the 5th, and then we're planning to sign another contract (and we're not expecting the landlords to raise the rent significantly). Looking ideally for someone who would want to stay and sign a contract from March.

The bedroom is located at the back of the flat, so nice and quiet, looking out onto some quiet gardens. We have a lovely living room, kitchen and bathroom (bath/shower) shared between 2 people (my room has an ensuite).

It’s a lovely area with lots of nice parks, food shops, restaurants etc. Easy to get to Brockley, Peckham, New Cross by bike or public transport and overground links to East London and tubes, good buses to Elephant & Castle, Waterloo, Aldwych, etc.

Some of our interests include: left & feminist politics, music (inc folk music, dance music, electronic music), film, radio, literature, and our time outside the home/work is mostly spent related to these things.
