Great spacious double room has become available on the Harringey ladder in N8, from the 21st of May (potentially earlier). The room is part of a brilliant 4 bed house, with a living room, extra living/storage room, big kitchen with island and underfloor heating, a rain shower bathroom, bathroom with bathtub, downstairs toilet and decent size garden with shed.

When I moved in two years ago this house was newly refurbished and fitted, and it remains that way due to the care everyone takes. We all value a clean, homely space to feel proud of. The landlord really respects this and reciprocates the care he shows us when things need attention - he’s been a great landlord.

The house is 10 minutes’ walk from Turnpike Lane (on the Piccadilly line), 5 minutes’ walk from Hornsey station (into Moorgate via old street) and a couple of minute’s walk to bus routes, 29, 141 and 341. We have a well-stocked 24-hour shop at the bottom of the road on Greenlanes, which also has lots of restaurants and few bars.

About housemates:
The three great remaining housemates work in the fields of architecture, data technology and accountancy. As a house we enjoy each other’s company, socialising in the spacious kitchen or watching film in the living room, with the occasional trip to the Salisbury. We are a chilled house, and we do like socialising and having dinner together, however, we also respect each other’s need for space.

The room:
The room is a peaceful, spacious double with plenty of room for a double bed as well as a good sized wardrobe, shelves and a desk. The room is near to the two bathrooms, but not right next to them. The room is unfurnished, but I am looking to sell some of mine furniture so this can be worked out between us.

Move date & Deposit:
The room will officially be available from the 21st May, but an earlier move in date could work. Deposit is £934.5 and held in an independent deposit scheme.

Covid-19:
Due to the current situation and restrictions, the interviews with firstly been held over Zoom ect. We can show you around the house with a live video and then have a chat as we would in real life. Hopefully as things move along a face-to-face meeting will be possible well before the move in date.
