Double room with separate office space, w garden

Hello!

We are on the lookout for a new housemate to take over two rooms available in our lovely house on the Harringay Ladder. I’ve lived here for three years and am moving out cos I’m buying a flat.

It's a gorgeous period two story semi detached house, 5 mins from Hornsey station and 7 mins from Turnpike Lane tube. High ceilings, great light, somehow both cosy and spacious at the same time!

Your bedroom overlooks the back garden, but also comes with a separate room next door which is a perfect work from home office. It’s a really nice decent sized room, that's bright, with fireplace & wood floors, and having a separate WFH space has been amazing. As it's at back of the house, it feels quite private. The house is also so big with a separate shared living room and two bathrooms.

Housemates are: Cameron, 31, teacher, Barbara, 35, works in human rights, Tess, 32, works in fashion. Cameron’s two cats Lyla and Casca also live with us and we love them a lot.

Important things:

-The rooms were unfurnished when I moved in - I can leave the bed if you want it, it’s an IKEA double with under bed storage, old but still comfy. Or can get rid and you can bring your own bed.

-the little office room is also unfurnished - you could also turn it into a storage room, or your own private sitting room- lots of potential!

-Lyla and Casca have the run of the house so you must be cat-friendly and have no pets of your own.

-Looking for someone to sign on to the lease for a year, with the option to renew this time next year of course

- No couples, because the kitchen would be too small for 5 people

- we have a cleaning rota cos the house is big and needs a deep clean every couple of weeks.

-Rent for both rooms will be between £900 and £930 as we are currently negotiating the terms of the contract renewal with the landlord.

-Bills are not included and are roughly £125 per month

We are council tax band D (£72 per month each)

Scheduling viewings for Thursday 18th and Saturday 20th at the moment but are flexible.
