Very large double room for £1100 per calendar month (not including bills), available from mid September. The room is at the front of a two bed ground floor flat, located on a quiet residential street. It’s fully furnished, freshly decorated and comes with its own private bathroom (not ensuite). There is a king size bed, desk for working, draws and rail for clothes, lounge chair and tv. Fully equipped kitchen and well maintained south facing garden. Council Tax Band D.

I'm the homeowner, a self-employed professional working in the music industry, I mostly work with clients from a studio at the end of the garden, though I do often travel. I'm easygoing and value a relaxed home environment. I'm into music, reading and going to see shows in town. I'm looking for flatmate who is tidy, friendly and respectful. Ideally someone that doesn't work from home as from past experience having two people WFH can be a bit much.

Transport wise the flat is less than a minute's walk from Hornsey station which has a direct line to Finsbury Park (4 mins), Highbury and Islington (10 mins), Old Street (16 mins) and Moorgate (20 mins), perfect for a city commute. From Finsbury Park there are direct trains to Cambridge and Brighton amongst many other destinations.

I'm a short walk away from Hornsey high street which has a number of shops, pubs and cafes including a big Sainsbury's. Slightly further afield but walkable is Crouch End, voted best place to live in London by the Sunday Times in 2023. Here you could find anything you could possibly want including two Cinemas, gyms and a pool. The community spirit in the neighbourhood and on the street in particular is very special and not something I've seen before, we even throw an annual street party!

The area has an abundance of parks and green space ranging from the small and charming Priory park to the 200 acre Alexander Park. All right on the doorstep and catering to any outdoor activities you could think of.
