Small Double in Friendly House in Hornsey

Hello there,

We're looking for a new person to join our lovely house in Crouch End / Hornsey!

We love this place and feel lucky to have somewhere affordable in such a nice area. We put a lot of effort in keeping this home as welcoming and warm as possible!

The communal areas are: kitchen, dining room, living room and garden,– if you like gardening that would be great as ours is an ongoing project!

The house has a great vibe, friendly, communal and respectful. We are all quite busy people, but make time to hangout: we like to cook, go for a dance, cycle, walks, go to the nearby cinemas etc. We are looking for someone who is willing to contribute communally, and make the house a home.

We are:

Pete - the longest surviving member, he's a woman's football coach and cooks curry by the gallon on the rare occasions that he's not working.

Mads - a train captain and multi talented artist, acting, singing, painting and achieving a flawless skincare.

Tommaso - works in the arts, an amazing cook who knows how to thrift with style - and how to maintain the perfect curl routine.

Aidan (they/them) - creative person, working part-time as an administrator, who loves Charli xcx and ceramics

Bills come to about £100 - £150 month each, including a cleaner who comes once a week and communal essentials (cleaning stuff, toilet paper, bin bags etc).

The area is well connected on the train, Hornsey High Street (Big Sainsbury's) is 5 mins away, Crouch End 7 mins, Hornsey Station is 8 mins, Turnpike Lane 15 mins, Finsbury Park is a 10 min cycle and you're a stone's throw from several parks.

Landlady Michelle is a private owner and very responsive whenever there's anything that needs doing.

We could accept a well-trained friendly cat, but no dogs sorry. Smoking is okay in the garden, but not in the house.

Tell us a bit about yourself, what you are looking for in a house share (we will only respond to ads with some info). Also, let us know if viewing date works best for you, or you need some other time.

We are looking to organise viewings this upcoming week. Ideally we would like someone who can move in asap, but it's possible to organise things more progressively beforehand.
