Description
Hi there
We have a good sized double room available from 21st February.
The house is on the Haringey Ladder, closest to Hornsey station which is about a 5-7 min walk. The train is 20 mins into Moorgate. It’s about 10 mins to Turnpike lane and the joys of the Piccadilly line.
It’s a 20 min walk to lovely Crouch End, a bit more to alexandra palace and green lanes is right round the corner and there is a dusty knuckle in walking distance if good bread is your thing.
The room is for a woman (or AFAB Non-binary) as we want to keep the balance of the house. Ideally you are a professional with references for our landlord.
The room is on the second floor. There are 3 bathrooms in the house and an additional toilet.
We take it in turns to keep the house and communal areas clean whilst also trying to be tidy as we go along.
The room comes with good wardrobe space (2 wardrobes) and a bed frame.
Rent does not include bills which come to around £130-140 per month. This includes Council tax (Band D), water, internet, gas and electric and TV Licence. There is sky tv with movies and sports in the house which is paid for by one of the housemates. there is no obligation to contribute to that but you can if you want.
There is a garden and living room, and the kitchen is large and everyone has cupboards and space in the fridges.
It is a big house but we have different lives and timetables so we aren't always getting in the way but still try to find time to have fun with each other. We would like someone who will fit in with the rest of us and be chill but still bring something about themselves to the house. Ideally you are a housemate, not someone who will be a hermit in their room and never interact and socialise with us.
We are Cedric (35 - Manager of Wine Retail), Paul (23 - Engineer), Rob (29 - Fintech), Emma (22 - Teacher) and Lillie (30 - property manager) and we would like someone around these ages. It might seem like we are all quite different but the younger ones are quite mature and the older ones can sometimes be quite silly too. We like to travel, watch sports, cook, go out to the pub and do all the normal things a mix of millennials and gen z like to do.
If you think you will be a good fit, please get in touch asap. the moving date is not very flexible unfortunately so long as there is a commitment by Feb 21st.
We can be reasonably flexible on viewings but we would like you to meet as many of the housemates as we can so evenings are generally better.
Cheers
Cedric
