Single Room - 15 minutes from Finsbury Park

Hi, I’m Sam. I’m 30 and work in the creative industry. The second bedroom in the 2 bed flat I rent will be available from the beginning of April 2026. The furniture in the picture is slightly different from what will be there, as I will be getting a new bed (small double) and a wardrobe.

The flat is near the top of Hornsey Rise, and is very well connected around 10-15 minutes walk from either Archway or Finsbury Park tube stations, with a bus stop right outside the flat. There are loads of amenities nearby including a well stocked corner shop 30 seconds walk away, Tesco 5 minutes away and lots of cafes and restaurants nearby on Stroud Green Road - or alternatively Jolene’s just 5 minutes down the road. I’ve lived here now for over 4 years, so it is well furnished and looked after and has recently had a new bathroom fitted.

I’m a very laid back person and out and about a fair bit during the week and weekend, although I do work from home two days a week, from my bedroom. I like to look after the flat, but not anally so - expect a tight ship but some food scraps in the plughole on occasion. When I’m not working or socialising, I’m generally exercising or pursuing hobbies (reading, drawing, gaming, museums, comedy, cooking etc etc)). I’ll do a fair bit of cooking so Sunday Roasts and other bits are definitely on the table!

Looking for a mate as well as a flatmate, someone with their own social life and hobbies but that is keen to do things in or outside the flat.
