Beautiful, peaceful garden flat in Crouch End

Hi, I'm Gabriel and I have a room available in a two bed garden flat in Crouch End. I’m looking for a peaceful, calm and considerate person to move in at the start of September.

Home is a settling space for me, and I would like to share my space with someone who feels similarly. While I do enjoy going out with friends from time to time, most of the time I like to enjoy a peaceful night in, watching a good series or movie on the tv over good food, or just relaxing at home, while engaging in interesting conversation with someone likeminded. I also enjoy exercising, a good book over a coffee and taking care of my houseplants.

The flat is a very open and peaceful space, with little noise and few passing people. Situated on the ground floor, you open to the hallway which leads to a very large kitchen, dining and living space. The kitchen includes a fridge, microwave, air fryer, toaster, kettle and dishwasher. There’s also a washing machine and dryer. With high ceilings and large windows, there is plenty of space and light. The back of the home boasts two good sized doubles, both of which open on to the private garden. Your room can be furnished or unfurnished depending on what you prefer. The bathroom is a good size with a bath and a well pressured shower.

The front room has lots of space, with a huge loaf sofa and a second smaller one. I have Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon Prime and Disney Plus set up, and I enjoy watching a good series or movie in the evenings.

Crouch End is a really nice area with lots of coffee shops, bakeries and places to go for a drink or a meal. We’re located about a 20min walk from Finsbury Park and 15 min from Archway tube station, and only a couple of minutes from the closest bus stop. We’re also a couple of minutes away from Parkland Walk which is lovely for a nice peaceful walk.

I work from home for a charity most days. I occasionally go into the office or travel for work but most of the time I’ll be working from here. My current housemate and I both work from the living room some days and sharing the space has been working well for us.

I would love to find someone who wants to make a home and who respects our space. I am clean and tidy, without stressing too much about it, and would want you to be as well, I’m also open to a cleaner. I value good communication, being considerate and someone fairly relaxed about things.
