Double Bed near Hoxton (3 months or longer)

Hi,
I am looking for someone to rent my spare double room and look after my flat while I am out of the country.

My current flatmate is moving out so I am looking for someone to take over his room. For the moment you would be the only person in the flat, so I would need you to take over all the duties of caring for the place (from the easy things like checking my mail to being responsible to getting things fixed if something breaks). So you will have to be very responsible and I will need to be able to trust you to treat the place as your own. That you would have to be clean and respectful and not use this as a party house goes without speaking.

I am currently in Germany and do not know when I will be able to return (Corona?!?). I might pop back to the UK and stay in my room for a few weeks, but the rough plan is that I will be going to Spain to work ther for a few month. So you would have to be fine with me being there or not.
I am flexible renting the room out short term or long term, but I do intend on returning to London in the long run and then we obviously would need to make sure we get on living together. Couples are ok for the short term, but long term (when I am back permanetly) might be a little cramped.

The flat itself is very bright and sunny with a large living room and a fully equipped kitchen. I had just moved in myself when my job took me away, so I have not yet been able to really nicely furnish/decorate 🙁 , but it has everything that is needed.
It’s also a great location, just minutes from Haggerston Park, Columbia Market, Broadway market and Brick Lane, Pubs, shops, markets…. Hoxton Station and Old Street/ Liverpool Street and are all within walking distance.

I am half German/half American, 39 and have lived in London for over 5 years now. My party days are (mostly behind) me and now I am more interested in a fit & healthy lifestyle. I spend most my spare time with rock climbing (in and outdoor) and running. I am pretty easy going, clean but not anal and like my life pretty drama free.
