Due to Covid lockdown the rent for this room is reduced to £450 per month. Once restrictions lift and life returns to normal (whenever that is..) the rent will once again be £500.
We have a light and spacious room available in our family home. The family is Alastair, Françoise and our youngest son Theo (aged 21), one other lodger (female), plus our family dog, a collie cross named Lina.
Alastair and Francoise are both semi retired, but both active. Alastair plays in a band and Francoise often looks after our grand daughters. Theo works as a researcher on a healthcare business to business company, and our lodger Lisa collects part time for a charity.
Our neighbourhood is very nice. Within walking distance you'll find Haggerston Park, Broadway Market, Brick Lane, Old Street, Shoreditch and Bethnal Green. We live at the end of Columbia Road Flower market.
The flat is close to good public transport links, 10-15 minutes walk to Bethnal Green and Old Street underground, 5 minutes walk to Hoxton Overground.
We are Christians, and regularly attend our local Anglican Parish Church, St Peter's Bethnal Green.
Evening meals with the family are possible, for a weekly contribution toward the groceries, or you are welcome to organise meals for yourself.
As long as none of this puts you off you're welcome to come and live with us!
