Description
We have 2 lovely double bedrooms available in our fabulous house in Hoxton, a stone's throw away from Hoxton & Haggerston Overground stations. It's a very fun area and we're just a short walk from Shoreditch, Dalston, Columbia Road and Broadway Market.
The house is spread over four floors, and is currently home to two friendly gay 30-something housemates - Neil and Andy. We are ideally looking for two more gay professionals to join the house as our current housemates are leaving at the end of the tenancy.
As housemates we have shared interests in food, music, karaoke, board games, queer culture, pubs, and the occasional night out at the local gay bars. We're looking for housemates who want to enjoy the shared spaces together and make the house feel like a home.
The two rooms available are:
1. Ground floor double (en suite)
The room is a good size double and comes with a double bed, wardrobe and built-in storage. There is also a large ensuite with a bath. Note - the washing machine is located in the cupboard of the ensuite, so you will need to be comfortable with us all accessing it via your bedroom (with your permission of course!).
2. Second floor double (shared bathroom)
The room is a great size, with a juliet balcony overlooking the terrace at the back of the house letting in loads of light. The bedroom comes with a large built-in wardrobe, but will be otherwise unfurnished. The bathroom on the same floor is shared with one other housemate.
The house is end-of-terrace and is very spacious and light. There is a large living room and separate kitchen/diner leading out to a sunny patio. There is also a second more private roof terrace off the top floor.
L&Q is the letting agent and we are all equal tenants on the lease, so the new tenant will need to be referenced by L&Q and added to the lease before moving in. The room is available from mid-January and we would like to have new housemates secured before Christmas. Rent for both rooms is 1012/month not including bills, which we expect to be roughly 140/month. We are council tax band F.
