Our wonderful flatmate is heading back to Australia, so we’re on the hunt for someone new to join our 3-bed, 2-bathroom flat perched above Sager & Wilde Wine Bar on Hackney Road.
The flat:
We’re on the upper floors above the wine bar (no noise, just a solid backup plan for spontaneous glasses of red). The place is bright, spacious, and has a big open-plan kitchen/living room that’s perfect for lazy mornings, dinner catch-ups, or watching something terrible on Netflix.
The available room is a cosy double with a bed, mattress, wardrobe and chest of drawers (which we can remove if you’ve got your own gear).
The location:
Couldn’t be better...
• Less than 5 mins to Hoxton Overground
• 5 mins to Columbia Road Flower Market
• 15 mins to Broadway Market
• 30 mins along the canal to Victoria Park
Plus loads of buses right outside the door if you’re heading into central.
Who you’ll be living with:
You’d be sharing with me (28, designer in consulting) and Cian (29, Irish, proud pub expert). We both do hybrid working and are in and out of the flat during the week.
We’re hoping to find someone relaxed, friendly, and easy to live with - someone who’s happy doing their own thing but also up for a chat or spontaneous trip to the pub.
The room’s available from 11th August 2025, when our current lease ends.
Total bills for all 3 of us monthly:
• Council Tax £139 total, £46.33 each.
• Energy £135 total, £45 each.
• Wifi £35 total, ~£11.70 each.
