The flat is unfurnished apart from a fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, washing machine, shelving unit in the living room, and large wardrobes in both bedrooms. It is on the third floor of a block of flats with four floors, with a lift. The large living room leads out to the balcony, which gets sun all day - it's a peaceful oasis in the middle of Hoxton. There are well-tended communal gardens surrounding the flats. Plus Shoreditch Park is just over the road.
The two double bedrooms are spacious and light, both with wardrobes. The toilet is in a separate room next to the bathroom (which has a sink and a shower over the bath), which can be useful with two sharers.
The flat is right by Hoxton Street with its shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, and weekly market. It's a lively area which still has a proper East End pie 'n' mash shop and a Victorian music hall (Hoxton Hall) amongst the newer 'hipster' cafes and bars. It's also very close to Hoxton Square with its contemporary art galleries and gig venues. The City is in easy walking distance. Columbia Rd flower market, Brick Lane and Islington High St are all great places for a wander to on the weekend. It's really a great area to live in!
Parking is available outside the flat by purchasing parking vouchers. The transport connections are very good - you're a short walk from Hoxton overground station and Old St tube station, and near lots of bus routes.
