Double room in our girly, 3-bed flatshare

Sadly our lovely flatmate is leaving to move in with her boyfriend. So her room is available to rent from Sunday 14th July.

We live in a ground-floor flat on a residential street, just a 5-minute walk from Old Street station. There are great bus and overground transport links too.

Plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, cafes etc. nearby, plus parks and the canal.

Our home is our haven and we enjoy coming home to a peaceful space after our busy days. It isn't a party flat, but we do enjoy the occasional trip out together for a pub quiz, climbing, or movie nights at home.

My current flatmates and I met on Spareroom, have lived together for 4 and 2 years respectively and have become great friends! This is the atmosphere we are looking to recreate in the flat - friends, rather than just flatmates.

Kate, who occupies the 3rd room, will be moving in with her boyfriend shortly after you move in, so I will introduce you to Ilaria who will be taking her place.

I work as a digital content editor/strategist for a health organisation, and Ilaria works in marketing. We both are into fitness, like houseplants, and Italian food!

The flat is bright and open, fairly small, but we love it! Since both of us work from home a couple of days a week, we are ideally looking for someone who doesn't work from home very often.

The room is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and space for a desk. The bathroom has a bath/shower and there's a shared living room and kitchen. I have arranged with the landlord to have some redecorating done in the coming months too, to freshen things up!

Rent is £800 per month and bills are usually around £150 per month each. The landlord requires a £600 deposit.

We'd like someone who can move in/start paying rent from Sunday 14th July. My friend was due to move in but had to pull out, hence the short notice!
