Description
I’m moving out of my room in Hoxton in February and looking for someone to take over. The flat is located on Hoxton Street, right at the top of Shoreditch, in a fantastic location with gyms, shops, great pubs, and other amenities nearby. I’ve been living here for three years and have absolutely loved it.
The room itself is a converted downstairs living room. It’s very spacious and comes with a sofa, bedframe, and some drawers. There’s also a small downstairs balcony just outside the room. Parts of the kitchen and upstairs bathroom have been recently refurbished as well.
You’ll be living with two guys, aged 27 and 30, who work in finance and consultancy. The vibe in the house is very chill. They’re often busy with work, sports, and partners, so it’s probably best suited for someone independent. That said, they’re always up for a beer when time allows!
You’ll be taking over my part of the tenancy. We signed a one-year lease in September, so the current agreement runs until September 2024. There’s also the opportunity to renew the contract for another year after that. The tenancy is typically renewed on a rolling yearly basis.
The landlords are a lovely couple who’ve owned the property for many years. They’re very sweet and responsive if anything ever goes wrong.
