Description
The Flat
A good sized, clean and modern flat. It has an open plan kitchen with a dishwasher that connects to a light-filled living room. All appliances are high spec. It has a bathroom with a shower and two double bedrooms. The flat was renovated 3 years ago and all furniture is relatively new. As a live in-landlord, I make sure any issues with the flat are sorted immediately. The flat sits on the 4th floor. There are two lifts. The building itself (George Loveless House) is interesting - it can be often seen in TV shows and films! The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable.
Your Room
A large furnished double bedroom with a good quality double bed with significant under-bed storage. It also has a clothes rack, a set of drawers, a chair and a set of shelves. There is some flexibility with moving out some of these additional things if you’d like to bring your own things. The room has a large south facing window that looks onto a park.
Location
An ideal location, just 1 minute from Columbia Road Flower Market, with endless cafés, restaurants, shops and pubs nearby!
2 minutes to Hoxton station. 2 minutes walk to the 55 and 26 bus routes. Around 15 minutes on foot to Old Street station and Liverpool Street station for wider connections. Despite being so centrally located, there is a lovely residential and community feel in the area and great parks nearby.
Rent & Bills
Rent for this room is £800 per month. Utility bills, broadband and council tax come to approximately £70 per month. Rent is paid via standing order every month.
About me
I am in my second year of training to be an Art Psychotherapist at Goldsmiths, University of London. I am in University once a week and then work for the NHS on my clinical placement two days a week. I work from home on Monday and Friday.
I love going to art galleries, the cinema and to my knitting/sewing club. I’m an active person - I am part of a netball team and enjoy cycling, swimming and going to the gym. I like to get out of London when I can - for long weekends in the countryside and Europe as much as possible. My favourite way to spend my time is with my friends and family ❤️
When I’m at home, I like it to feel relaxed and friendly, whether that’s catching up in the living room, watching tv, or heading out for the occasional drink or pub quiz after work. I keep the flat clean and tidy and want it to feel like a comfortable, well-looked-after space.
I’m looking for someone easy-going and sociable who wants a place to properly call home. Ideally, you’d be up for the odd chat or hangout, while also respecting that everyone needs their own space sometimes. If that sounds like you, feel free to get in touch and tell me a bit about yourself.
I know SpareRoom can be a bit overwhelming, but I’ll do my best to get back to people as quickly as I can to arrange viewings.
It would be ready to move in immediately, but there is some flexibility.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
