Double Room in Hoxton, Queer Friendly

Hello! We are looking for a flatmate take the room in our flat located in Hoxton.
We look to make this flat a home and would like to live with someone who shares the same values as us. This flat is very queer friendly.

We are in Hoxton: a 4 min short walk from Hoxton Station, and 16 mins walk from Old Street Station. Right off busses 149, 242, 243, 394 and more. We are 30 minutes walking from Liverpool street and Dalston. The location is insane, best part. There’s something for everyone: Shoreditch Park and Haggerston Park for park lovers, a Lidl, Howl at The Moon Pub, and Hoxton Street Market. There’s also free Tai Chi on Sunday mornings.

The room:
The room comes furnished with a wardrobe, bed, bedside table, desk and chest of drawers. And there’s an additional big built in wardrobe.
There is some tasteful wallpaper in the room. We have permission from the landlord to repaint if its a bit much for you.

The flat:
The living room is huge and has a TV and sofa, and a space to work from home. It stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
The kitchen has a washer, fridge and oven, and also lots of built in storage.
There is a downstairs toilet and an upstairs bathroom, which is ideal for flat sharing.

The flatmates (us):
You’d be living with Tess (she/they) and Georgia (she/her). We’re fun, clean and tidy, super easy to get on with, and people who care about making and maintaining a welcoming and comfortable home. Both work hybrid jobs so will be wfh some days and in the office others. We really value having a chill, clean house to come home to, as well as the time we spend together in the house (or out together). V queer, neurodiversity-friendly household with people who are socially conscious, community focused and empathetic. Ideally looking for another queer woman/nb person as a preference.
Georgia: likes live music, painting, spending time outdoors and is a great chef.
Tess: likes clubbing, going to Britannia leisure centre and doing political activism and volunteering with kids in her free time.

We are both social, clean, and appreciate kindness.

Admin:
Rent is 1025£. We will all sign a new lease together when you join us. Bills come out to around £150 per month, which includes a bi-weekly cleaner. The move in date is set for Early September, with some flexibility if needed (the sooner the better, so that our amazing flatmate Toni can start living with her girlfriend <3).
