Bedroom with double bed available in luxury development by Island Gardens, close to Canary Wharf.

Rent includes bills such as high-speed fibre broadband, council tax and access to the development’s many amenities including gym and pool. To encourage sensible usage, a 1/3 share of electricity is the only bill not included in the rent. Single occupancy only.

The Room and Flat:

The room is generously sized (4.5m x 2.6m), with a double bed, wardrobe, drawers, desk + chair and everything you need to move in.

You will be sharing the bathroom with another person (female).

The flat is shared between 3 people in total, including you.

There is a large lounge with a well-equipped open-plan kitchen and a balcony; the property has been renovated to a high standard.

The area is quiet, safe, next to the river, walking distance to the station, shops and nature such as Mudchute Farm and Greenwich Park.

The development has a gym, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, a common area with a pool table, library and a 24hr concierge that can accept parcels in your absence. These are all included in the rent.

Flatmates:

You will be sharing the space with 1 female (NK) and 1 male (NH) – we are both LGBTQ+ friendly, quiet, respectful and clean.

We are both adults with our own lives and routines who share similar standards of cleanliness, how we want to take care of our common space, and how we want to interact as people sharing a beautiful flat.

NK is originally from Central Asia and has lived in Japan and Singapore. She speaks Russian and Japanese. NK works from home all the time; she likes long walks and sculpting as a hobby.

NH has lived in this flat a long time and commutes to work every day. He is very health oriented and has lived in Latin America. He enjoys quiet mornings, intelligent conversation and gym exercise.

About You:

We are hoping to connect with someone who enjoys the quiet life, who is independent, clean and respectful. Hopefully, someone who is not afraid to talk things out and takes care of the flat and contents. Maintaining cleanliness and taking turns at cleaning is important to us. We are happy to consider hiring a cleaner but only if all three flatmates agree to this.

If having raucous dinner parties and frequently hosting many friends is important to you, this may not be the flat for you. We welcome an occasional get-together, but prefer to be mindful and respectful of everyone in the household.
