Hey guys,
My name's Juliette. I'm a 23-year-old student, and I'm currently looking for 4 flatmates to complete the flat I currently live in.
Currently, we're all girls and studying.
The 4 rooms include two ensuite and two spacious rooms sharing a bathroom (there will only be two of you sharing). One of them also has a balcony.
The flat itself is on two floors and includes a kitchen with a dining area (table and sofa), as well as a garden area for those sunny days where you can smoke if need be. The kitchen comes equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster, fridge and freezer.
Bedroom 1 (ground floor, ensuire): double bed comes with a coffee table, coat hangers, 1 tall open cupboard, 1 sliding clothes wardrobe, a mirror, and a toiletries rack in the bathroom.
Bedroom 2 (first floor): shared bathroom. Has a balcony, double bed, desk, chair, wardrobe, sofa, chest of drawers, wide tall storage unit, skinny tall storage unit, and coffee table. On the balcony, table and chairs.
Bedroom 3 (second floor, ensuite): double bed. Comes with desk and chair. Large ensuite. Storage included.
Bedroom 4 (second floor, shared bathroom): double bed comes with desk/ chair with storage, large built in wardrobe and small storage.
The flat is close to Greenwich ( you can walk there via the footway or take the train one station) and is just 5-minutes walk from DLR Island Gardens station. There are also many 24-hour bus stops, mainly linking the area to Canary Wharf, Old Street, etc. There is also a maritime station 10 minutes away. Central London can be reached in around 45 minutes.
The flat is located between two pubs, close to two very good restaurants, there is a local shop and a charming café opposite the station, other shops including a post office at the end of the street, an ASDA about 10-15 minutes walk away, Mudchute Park (with a farm) 5min walk away.
The flat also has access to a 24-hour guarded sports complex which includes a small gym, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and relaxation room with pool table and books.
The rent is 996pcm excluding utilities (electricity, wifi, water, heating..). As we are all students, we do not pay council tax. Holding deposit is £230pp which is deducted from the first months rent but non refundable if you decide to drop out. Total deposit is £1380pp.
We've never had any problems with the landlord. He is very friendly, understanding and easy to reach. He is quick to arrange maintenance (as was the case this year).
The location is very safe and relaxing, away from the hectic atmosphere of London but still accessible.
About me:
I am currently completing my law degree at the University of Westminster. I plan to do a master's or sit the bar exam in September. In my spare time, I like to go out with my friends to explore London or just have a chat over a drink or two. I like watching films, listening to music, cooking to relax (and making cocktails), playing guitar and sports (I do a lot of martial arts). I like to organise impromptu trips to discover new places. I'm always up for a group outing, and I also enjoy having some alone time to chill. I've lived with flatmates worldwide for several years now, so I know the rules of communal living, and I've never had any trouble
The lease is a one-year contract, starting on 24 August 2025. Guarantors for the rent are also required by the landlord. But don't panic if you're international and don't have a UK guarantor; you can pay the last 6 months' rent in advance as a guarantee (which is what I did). For uk guarantors, they need to make at least £35k/yr.
Ideally, I'd like to find people quickly and before the summer to avoid any last-minute hassles. So if you're interested, shoot me a text or call and we'll arrange a viewing asap. Also, let me know if you want more pics as the number is limited here!
Nb: I’ve currently got two people ready to commit (for the balcony room and second floor ensuite) but I’m looking for two more to secure the flat.
