We are looking for a housemate in our houseshare in Island Gardens area, which is 10min walk away from the Greenwich town center and 6min DLR ride to Canary Wharf.
We are mixture of young professionals and postgraduate students (two of us are classical musicians - pianist (Trinity Laban) and violinist (Guildhall) and an HR professional (Westminster). We are considerate, respectful and friendly people and we are looking for someone alike. We like to maintain our home clean and we have a cleaning rota where every tenant cleans one of the 4 communal areas every week. We are looking for someone who wouldn't mind to be included in the rota and help to maintain a pleasant home.
The area is very pleasant, it's surrounded by the Thames, parks and the Mudchute Farm through which you can get to a big local ASDA which is around 6-7min walk.
The bills in this house go up to around £43 per month:
- £7 for wifi
- around £6 for water
- around £30 for gas and electricity
Council tax in this property is around £140 for the house, two of us will be eligible to pay, so it will turn out £46 a month.
Our landlord asks for the UK guarantor. If you don't have one, you will have to:
- pay for the extra 3 months in advance, which will include payment for the first month August and the last 2 months of rent which will be released by the landlord on June and July 2023.
