After a year of living here, our lovely flatmate will be moving out with his partner so we are looking for someone to join us in our fantastic apartment in leafy Islington!

Ideally, you are an easy-going and nice professional who appreciates the awesomeness of sharing, but also respects the space of those around you, and likes a clean home!

# The Room

This is a spacious double room that comes unfurnished (however, furniture is available to purchase from previous tenant). There is plenty of natural light, thanks to the sliding doors that give access to the internal patio. Also, you have your own en-suite with lots of storage and a large shower so no waiting for the bathroom to be free in the morning!

The room will be available from early February.

# The Flat

We live in a converted ground floor shop at the top of Essex Road. The property has been tastefully modernised (only a few years ago) and extends back a *long* way giving enough storage space and room for 3 double bedrooms, each with their own en-suite, plus a guest toilet, a spacious living area and two garden/patios! The kitchen is well equipped with all the usual must-have appliances, such as a microwave, gas hob, newish oven, fridge/freezer and new dishwasher. We've also a new washer/dryer and underfloor heating, which is great in the winter!

There is loads of natural light, and the living room has French windows that open up onto our little courtyard garden, which is big enough for BBQ's and catching some rays, but small enough to not need much maintenance!

We're in a great location, with Islington, Stokey, Haggerston and Dalston all short walks away (depending on what you're in the mood for!). There are also excellent transport links with Canonbury Overground, Highbury and Islington tube and Dalston Junction nearby, and we're on some great bus routes too!

Bills average around £150-170 per month and that includes gas, electricity, internet, water and council tax.

# The Flatmates

You will be living with Gökçem and Irene who are Turkish and Spanish. We are both professionals, who work in animation and higher education respectively.

We both have hybrid jobs, we work from home and also go to the office. We are around in the evenings and we’re generally in-and-out most weekends. Whilst we are both pretty busy, we are also very much present and enjoy spending time in the communal spaces of the flat.

You will have an independent rental agreement with the landlord who is brilliant (we're not subletting) and he requires proof of income and at least one reference, for example, from a previous landlord.
