Looking for a new flatmate to join me in this spacious, safe and peaceful two bed flat. The bedroom is a big double which gets lots of light and is furnished with a double bed and mattress, drawers, clothes rail (you’d need to buy your own desk if you wanted to wfh but there’s plenty of space for it). The flat is first floor in a block within a gated courtyard just a stones throw from upper street near Islington town hall. I already have everything we need in terms of furniture and kitchen things but of course you’re welcome to bring bits if you have them, but if you’re moving without that stuff then no problem at all.
I work full time in Finance as a project manager and otherwise love to spend time with friends, go out for dinner and to the theatre, gym and yoga, it would be nice to find someone like minded as this is such a cute little home and a safe haven amongst the hustle of London. Another finance or law girly would be great but I’m totally open to gender and occupation - not ideal for full time wfh or students though.
I’m pretty chill and quiet but always happy for a chat or a glass of wine, I like meeting new people and socialising but also have a full on job and generally have quiet evenings where I usually go to the gym, cook and chill, I am respectful of others space too but obviously it would be nice to become friends as well as housemates :)
I travel quite a bit for work so this would suit someone who is already confident and happy in their own company and would see having the flat to themselves for a weekend or a week as a bonus! (I think it is!). I’ve secured this apartment for the next two years and it’s the safest place I’ve ever lived in London, and so convenient and central.
I also have two small very cute house bunnies, they live in the living room and are (obviously) silent and odourless & just hop about and nap, but they will come and watch tv with you if you’re sat still enough :)
Just a few moments from upper street, with bars/restaurants/coffee shops and v good transport into central London.
Looking for someone respectful and reliable:
- No smoking
- someone working full time and going into the office or place of work most of the week (I do three or four days in so would be good if the other person did similar to keep elec bills reasonable)
- I travel a lot for work so someone who is happy having the flat to themselves and doesn’t mind giving the bunnies some food and water while I’m gone.
Bills: £156 per month each includes council tax (unfortunately very expensive in Islington borough), wifi, water, gas and elec.
