Hi everyone,
As my lovely housemate is moving out later this summer, we have a room available in a 4 bed house in Finsbury Park which we’d like to fill with a friendly, down to earth person who wants the same things as us out of a flatshare!
About the house/room on offer:
The house is a 5-10 minute walk from Finsbury Park station so really well connected, and in a gated community kinda thing with a communal garden. The property also has sliding doors from the living room which go onto our own private patio/garden. There are two toilets - a downstairs toilet and upstairs shower/bathroom, and a separate utility room with a second fridge/freezer and washing machine. The house is also super bright and airy with lots of skylights and high ceilings :)
The double bedroom available is a really nice cosy room. It’s on the first floor. It has plenty of natural light and high ceilings. It is furnished with a bed, desk, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
About us and what we're looking for:
In terms of who we are - we're Alisha and Matt. Alisha is 27 and Matt is 31. We both work together in the charity sector, going into the office a few days a week. We're both very friendly, tidy and respectful of others but are keen for our home to have a sociable, communal feel to it, so if this is also what you're looking for please give us a shout. (Please note the third room has now been filled, so we are just looking for one person).
We've known each other for around 2 years and get on very well but equally have our own lives. We'd love the people joining us to be friendly, keen to contribute to keeping the house a pleasant, homely and comfortable place to live and ultimately be up for a laugh and more like friends than random people living metres away from us! We want people who respect each others' space, time and need to decompress after work on our own but also want to do stuff together from time to time like pub trips, binging tv series together, or enjoying the sun in the garden and catching up with a glass of wine.
Rent and bills:
Rent: £810pcm
Bills ~£90pcm for gas, electricity, water and wifi
Council tax band D
September 1st move in :)
