Spacious double room in the heart of islington

Double room for rent in our lovely 2 bedroom top floor flat on Upper Street. Looking for someone to take over my end of the contract due to me moving overseas so would need to commit until end of tenancy which is May 2025 (includes also deposit)

About the room: very spacious with lots of natural light and additional storage cupboard. The room is furnished (double bed, wardrobe, rail, 2 bedside cabinets - however, please note I am looking to leave my desk, standing mirror etc if you wish to keep). Bills not included which are roughly £150PCM.

The flat: The kitchen/ living room is upstairs with a lovely balcony which is ideal in the summer. The bathroom is modest with a shower and bath. (You would be sharing this with 1 other). The house is in a prime location, less than a 2 minute walk to H&I Victoria line station/overground. Less than 15 minutes to Angel northern line underground and a ridiculous number of bus routes. There are infinite amounts of coffee shops and fun restaurants. There's a decent sized Tesco/ Waitrose and Sainsbury’s less than a 5 minute walk away, Lidl about 25 min walk/10 min bus.

About us: very sad to be leaving my lovely housemate who has been an absolute delight to live with over the past year and a half. We are both 27, working professionals who do a variety of things. We have our own social circles outside of the house but will be looking for a friend as well as housemate who is up for a house dinner/pub night every now and then!

You: We are seeking a professional female who is respectful and tidy. We love going for dinner and bars as well as share a love for music and often go to events/ festivals in the summer (quite well behaved during the week) - tell us about you!
