Cosy Little Room on Highbury Fields

We are looking for a new flatmate for our 4-bedroom flat in Highbury & Islington. We’re two women and one man, so would ideally be looking for offers from a dude. The flat itself is right next to Highbury Fields, about an 8 minute walk from Highbury & Islington station and 12 minutes from Holloway Road Station. The area itself is very pretty and relaxed with lotsa nice cafes n’ all that jazz.

We’re all young working professionals, and prefer to keep the flat chill and low-key as a space to live in so we try not to bring the party back with us on nights out. One of us is an interior designer, the other is in publishing, and the third is a writer. We all like to do our own thing mostly but would be looking for a fellow young professional in a creative / tech background who’s easy to get on with, brings a chill warm vibe to the flat and generally is just nice bahaha

As for the room itself it is a little on the smaller side but the rent + bills makes up for it. Currently there is a double bed and bedside table in there but obviously the new occupant is free to curate the room as they wish. It also comes with a separate wardrobe next door with a mirror, which is all yours.

Typically how we do rent is we all take on a different kind of bill for the flat, which would be payed out of your own current account and then deducted out of your own division of baseline rent, so we all effectively cover the same costs on bills between the four of us. For the occupant of this room they would be expected to take on responsibility of council tax from the previous tenant, which will be accounted for in their monthly rent.

The total cost per month of the room with all the bills included is around £750, variable to a possible rent increase from our landlord when the contract renews. Obviously sincere communication will be kept on this front throughout the whole process:)
