Description

Hi, I was thinking of letting my place short-term for 2-3 months from mid to late September. Bills included. Not sure if the price I have set is right or not. If someone makes a great offer I might go for it (more or less than the listed price).

- Third/top floor of building.
- Lift.
- Security cameras.
- Day porter.
- Next to Milner Square.
- A few minutes from Upper Street.
- In Barsnbury Conservation area.
- About 8-10 mins from Angel Tube and Highbury & Islington Tube (check with postcode, N1 ).
- High ceilings.

it is a Studio flat located at N1 1TY. The downside is that it has some of my things in it. But that can be reflected in the price. The upside is that it is good for home working and is well located.

This flat probably isn't suitable for couples as it is a studio and is not large. My plan is to rent the flat and visit Portugal for a couple of months or so!

Price - Some questions about this. Here is some reasoning below. I understand that everyone wants a fair deal.

Similar flats in this building rent for about £1,650 long-term - this is the amount my neighbours flat across the hall is being let for at the moment. But with long-lets the tenant pays the bills. My price is all inclusive.

I pay council tax of £120, electricity at about £80, Internet TV and Water at about £80. So about £280 in total. My flat's total cost if it was rented long-term and with someone paying these bills themselves would be £1,930 (rental cost £1,650 and bills of £280).

So the £1,700 quoted is £230 less than the cost for the same long let flat. So it is a bit of a discount. This is when short-lets usually cost a lot more than long lets (as much as 1.5X more). So it seems like a reasonable deal.

But I totally understand that people want to ensure they are getting a fair deal. Rent is also very high in London that is for sure! So I understand that this amount seems like a lot to ask.

£1,700 pcm (whole property)
