Hello!

We’re looking for two new housemates to join our four-bed flat, one with a move-in date from Oct 1st 2024, and the other from Oct 10th 2024 . The initial contract will be for a year lasting until October 4th 2025, with the option to stay on afterwards.

Basic information:

Two rooms in a four bedroom house, the first for £1110/month, and the second for £1222/month. Both have all bills included (energy, water, internet, council tax (band D)), and also includes a cleaner who comes twice a month.

Comes with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room, and outdoor space. Situated just off the of Upper Street, Islington.

Room:

Two bedrooms, with wooden floors, on the second floor available in a four bedroom house. Both rooms double-beds, and plenty of storage space. This house, which spans two floors totally, comes with a large living room, a separate kitchen, and two bathrooms. It also has its own washer and dryer, and dishwasher. There is also a small private backyard that connects to a larger garden shared with other houses.

Location:

The house is just off of Upper Street, Islington, which is known for it's great restaurants and bars, and has plenty of shops and supermarkets nearby. We're a 10 minute walk away from Highbury Fields, and 15 minutes away from Regent’s Canal. There's a bus stop a few seconds walk from the house that connects to most of central London, and the two closest tube stops are Angel (Northern line, 15 minutes walk) and Highbury and Islington (Victoria and Overground, 10 minutes walk). Upper Street is one of the best places in London to enjoy the best of what the city has to offer.

About us:

Two of our current housemates are unfortunately moving out (one is moving to Bali, the other moving in London). We’re a very international flat, spanning from across the world, are young professionals, and we are LGBTQ+ friendly.

The two of us are good friends, and we're a social flat, we've been friends with all our housemates here, and we go out to restaurants, bars, etc. to try new things together. We don't often hold parties past the occasional drinks. Although we enjoy spending a lot of time together, we also enjoy our own privacy, especially during the week when we’re all busy with work; we think we’ve struck a good balance in the flat. We also care about our shared spaces, and like to keep them clean and inviting.

We’re looking for someone who has a similar idea of what a good flat-share looks like. We’d like someone who’s not just looking for a place to stay, but would like to become friends with their housemates, as well as someone who cares about where they live and makes an effort to keeping the house a nice place to stay. Since we are both professionals, we’re looking for someone who’s in a similar stage in life.
