Bright and cosy room with a gigantic window one flight of stairs down from the main area of the house. The room comes furnished with a double mattress, bedding, a hanging rail and a wardrobe.

This room does not have a typical door!! In lieu of that, it is entirely private and separated off from the rest of the flat upstairs with a sound-reducing curtain at the bottom of the stairs and a foldable privacy screen at the top. The rent is £400pcm - ideal for someone on a tight budget who still wants to live in a nice place in Zone 2 with a large communal area and outdoor space.

Property: The flat is a penthouse unit with lots of natural light coming in through floor-to-ceiling windows. There is plenty of communal space in the massive open plan living room/kitchen and connecting large balcony. We have a fantastic panoramic view of North London from the flat and have enjoyed countless beautiful sunrises and sunsets since we moved in. Additional perks include lift access to the flat, an intercom to let deliveries or guests in, and use of a bike shed within the compound if you happen to own a bike.

Location: We’re 10-12 minutes’ walk from Finsbury Park station which has fast links in and out of town via tube line and National Rail. There is also a bus stop 1 minute from the flat, with others within a 5 minute radius.

Amenities: We’re 2 minutes’ walk from a little Tesco and 8 minutes from a big Morrison’s and a Lidl. There are lots of independent shops, barbers, butchers, fishmongers, grocers and Nag’s Head Market nearby. There’s also a BHF for all your furniture needs!

Us: This is an LGBT+ household! You will be joining Aaron, Luis, Kieran nd Merry (together with her bearded dragon) — Jaymie, the current housemate, is returning to her home country. We are logistics manager, pharmacist, occupational therapist and researcher. We’re outgoing people in our early - late thirties, who enjoy working out, board/video games, trashy TV and dad jokes. We get along really well as a flat and enjoy being social, having friends over, throwing the occasional shindig and generally spending time together, so it’s important to us to find someone who will enjoy that too!

You: We are looking for someone who is 25+ y/o, clean & tidy, considerate and sociable to join us. If you’re looking for friends rather than just hi-bye housemates, this is the flat for you!

Rent, deposit and bills: £400pcm paid in advance on the 1st of every month. Deposit is £460. Everyone (including students) pays an equal share of the bills, currently an additional £100-110pcm per person.

References: We may need to see a character reference or a reference from a previous landlord.
