Hello future roomie 🩷

We’re looking for a fourth housemate to join our lovely little home between Angel and Islington.

Area
The neighbourhood is beautiful and offers the best of both worlds – it’s quiet and safe but also surrounded by loads of cute shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, pubs and theatres. There are loads of parks and green spaces nearby. We’re well connected to the rest of London - Highbury & Islington (Victoria line & Overground) is a 10 min walk; Angel (Northern line) and Caledonian Road (Piccadilly line) are 15 mins. The area is also great for cycling and there’s space in our garden shed to store bikes if you have one.

House
The house is spread over three stories with a full bathroom on the ground floor (shared by three of us, including you) and a toilet on the first floor. The kitchen has just been refurbished in March 2025 and includes a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, full sized fridge and separate full size freezer. The conservatory is bright and sunny and leads out to lovely garden. The garden is such a special part of the house - a great size and feels really quiet and private. Great for a BBQ/summertime shenanigans. There’s a good sized shed in the garden where we store bikes/garden furniture etc.

Room
The available room is the biggest in the house (16m2) with loads of natural light and lovely wood flooring. It faces the road but Bewdley St is a quiet residential street without much traffic. The room is furnished.

Bills
Bills come up to around £160-180pppm. This includes energy, water, council tax, wifi, TV license, and a weekly cleaner for the communal areas.

Housemates
We’re Ellie, James and Ella. We’re in our late twenties/early thirties, working full time Mon-Fri. We’re sociable, easy going and friendly - we have our own lives but like to hang out as a house too. We like a drink or two but work takes up a lot of our headspace in the week so we like to keep the home environment chill. We’re looking for someone considerate, clean, easy-going and fun - who is independent but up for doing something as a house from time to time.

You would be taking over a 12 month contract that runs until March 2026. At this point, subject to agreement from landlord, you could re-sign on the main tenancy contract. The landlord also would like to perform a finance and employment check, so he requires you to provide supporting documents as well as a letting reference letter.
