Double Room Sublet in Creative Islington House

Subletting my lovely double room in a creative Islington townhouse for around three months. I’m flexible with dates and happy to chat through anything you might need.

The house is on a quiet street with loads of shops and restaurants nearby, plus easy access to Holloway Road and Angel. Transport links are excellent - you’ve got three stations within walking distance:
- 2 mins to Drayton Park (Network Rail)
- 5 mins to Holloway Road (Piccadilly)
- 10 mins to Highbury & Islington (Victoria & Overground)

The house spans four floors with a lounge and dining room, a separate kitchen with all appliances, two full bathrooms, and a back garden with an outdoor art studio.
The room itself is fully furnished with a built-in wardrobe, double bed, shelving unit, full-length mirror and a chest of drawers. I can also provide an extra rail if needed. It’s ideal for a Master’s student or young professional who needs a beautiful, homely base for a short stint.

You’ll be sharing with five others (4 girls, 1 boy), though the space means it never feels crowded. Everyone is between 24-29, working across creative fields - an artist, architect, brewer, copywriter and actor. There’s a mix of WFH and in-office schedules, so the house has a nice flow without ever feeling too busy.

We’ve all moved in at different times but have become really close, so it matters to us that anyone joining is respectful, social, kind and easy to live with. We often end up hanging out in the lounge in the evenings; cooking, watching films or hosting little dinner parties. We all pitch in with the cleaning and also have a brilliant bi-weekly cleaner.

I’ll be covering the heating, electricity, water and WiFi. The only additional costs are £22.60/month for the cleaner and £55.90/month for council tax, both payable to the flatmate who handles bills.

Unfortunately we can’t accept couples or pets :(
