Description
Hey!
I'm moving out due to changes with my job and sad to leave this great priced room in an amazing location in Islington!
The Room
It’s a small double that fits a bedside table and drawers, or a cupboard and a small desk (both options are pictured). Just outside the room, there’s a walk-in cupboard that’s all yours, with plenty of extra storage. There’s also a shared desk downstairs if you need a place to work from home.
The House
The house is great! It has a large kitchen and dining area, a separate living room, and a private garden. There’s one main bathroom with a bath and shower, plus an extra toilet downstairs.
Transport links are amazing here:
* Highbury & Islington station (Victoria line and Overground)- 10 mins walk
* Caledonian Road (Piccadilly line)- 8 mins walk
* Caledonian Road & Barnsbury- (Overground)- 6 mins walk
* There are also plenty of bus routes within easy walking distance.
There’s lots of shops nearby including a Lidl, Aldi , Tesco’s and a big Sainsbury’s. With convenient cornershops only a couple mins away. Upper street nearby is also great for cafe, restraints and bars and there many parks around nearby (with one just across the road)!
Your Housemates
You’d be living with Rowan and David, a couple who have been together for over four years and each have their own room in the house.
Rowan is a freelance classical musician who splits her time between rehearsals, teaching, gigs and practising at home. She enjoys yoga, video games, plants, spotting the many neighbourhood cats, and going to gigs when she can. She’s queer and vegan but totally fine living with meat-eaters.
David is a technology lawyer who works from the office three days a week and from home the other two. Outside of work, he’s into anime, sewing and design, and gaming.
They’re both easy-going, respectful, and enjoy the occasional house dinner or evening out. It’s a calm and friendly household where everyone has their own space but also enjoys a good chat.
Details
Bills come to about £100 a month.
Very open to who would be interested and look forward to hearing from you just preferably not working from home more than 2 days a week :)
Any questions just let me know! Move in date is flexible starting from ASAP really and onwards and the contract ends in June plus the landlord is super easy going which always helps.
Thanks,
Rose :)
