I am looking for someone to take my place in my London flatshare, as I have found a job in Scotland starting from April 19th. It is with sadness that I leave this place and this city, which is extremely rich in diversity and experiences.
I am looking for someone to replace me from mid-April (guaranteed from the 19th, some flexibility possible) until the end of September.
Rent is £1175 due before the start of the new month + £53 for utilities (electricity, heating, water, wifi - all included) (no TV). (For the start of the rental, the rent will be adjusted according to the arrival date, of course).
The apartment is pleasant, with a direct view of the canal. It has 1 shared living room, 1 kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 1 toilet, and 4 bedrooms. Second floor with elevator + intercom + keyfob. 1 dishwasher, 1 washing machine, 1 fridge/freezer. The living-dining room is bright, faces the canal and the garden reserved for the building’s residents, and includes a balcony (1 table, 2 chairs). The kitchen seems small but has enough counter space for everyone, especially since not everyone cooks at the same time.
Bedroom : 1 double bed (! Not 3/4, standard double bed). If needed, I can provide 2 rectangular pillows. 1 large desk with a shelf. 1 chest of drawers with 5 drawers, 1 deep wardrobe with 1 large storage space above. 1 small table with a basket, 1 small bedside drawer unit. 3 small shelves. 1 mirror on the wardrobe door (inside). Lots of extra storage space under the bed. Blackout curtains.
Bathroom: 1 cupboard with 2 shelves for personal storage, 1 shared sink. 1 shared bathtub+shower
Kitchen: 2 very large cupboards available (+1 small one if needed) + 1 drawer, 1 full fridge shelf + 1 full freezer drawer, the fridge door is shared.
Roommates : 3 other students in master’s programs, 2 at UCL and one at RCA - 1 English guy (21), 1 French girl (21) and 1 English girl (21): they are kind and welcoming, calm and rather tidy. Open to other profiles, ideally in a similar age range.
1 toilet, 2 shared bathrooms : you would share a bath/shower with one person. The toilet is in the other bathroom. 1 large shared cupboard in the hallway for luggage and other bulky items.
Kitchen is properly equipped by us (toaster, kettle, microwave, possibility to borrow an airfryer from one of the flatmates). Absolutely open to all types of diets.
Transport : Very well connected (especially for London) - 6 subway lines (Piccadilly, Northern, Victoria, Hammersmith & City, Circle, Metropolitan) and more than 5 bus lines within a 10-minute walk (mainly around Kings Cross St Pancras).
Bonus : the Eurostar becomes a super easy trip (I’ve done more than 7 round trips since September). Nice neighbourhood, quite green, with pleasant shopping streets around Angel, as well as a Sunday market - 2 Tesco Expresses nearby, 1 Nisa on the corner, and a large Sainsbury’s within 10 minutes for groceries, as well as a Waitrose and a well-stocked shopping centre (10 minutes) - ANGEL
Particularly close to UCL, Dauphine Londres, KCL, UAL (walking distance)
