Amazing double in Highbury & Islington!

Hello!

We’re a friendly and easygoing house in lovely Islington, looking to fill a space that’s come up in one of the rooms.

***In order to keep the balance of the housemates, we prefer male applicants.*** Also, were only accepting professionals (i. e. no students). Other than that, all we ask is that you’re relatively clean and can get on with everyone else!

The room

The room is an amazing double which gets a lot of sunlight (London weather permitting!) and comes furnished with a bed, wardrobe, drawers, in addition to a desk and a couch.

It’s located downstairs while the three other bedrooms are located upstairs.

The house

The house is tucked away in a quiet, leafy area of Islington, but is in walking distance from shops and several transport links including the Piccadilly and Victoria lines, as well as the Overground. Highbury Fields and a number of green spaces are also all a few minutes away.

We also have a good-sized garden for when the weather is nice in addition to a cosy living space where we hang out and catch up after a hard day’s work.

The house comes with two big fridges and everyone has their own cupboard so plenty of space for storing food. All cooking utensils and appliances are provided and a new oven was recently added.

The housemates

We are all professionals aged 30 and over. We like to socialise and occasionally share a takeaway over a few bottles of wine, but also appreciate our own space when necessary. We try to keep the house clean and tidy at all times.

The bills

The room is £825 a month and a deposit of £450 rent is needed to secure the spot.

Additionally, we have bills of roughly £125 a month for water, gas, electricity, internet and council tax. This also includes a cleaner which comes once a week.
