Huge room in huge house in Islington!

Hello! We have a large beautiful double room available for long-term let in our lovely 4 storey Georgian house, located in Barnsbury (N1). The location boasts excellent transport links (right next to Caledonian Road & Barnsbury Overground; 9 mins walk to Cally Road Underground (Piccadilly); 9 mins walk to Highbury & Islington underground (Victoria) and 20 mins walk to Kings Cross). Hampstead Heath, Camden, Dalston and Hackney, to name a few, can all be accessed from the door of our house within 15 minutes. There is a Co-op and loads of local shops around Cally Road; Sainsburys, Tesco & Waitrose are also not too far away. There is a fab brewery behind the house and the best pub in London (slightly biased) 100 metres up the road!

The room is very spacious, on the first floor of the house, south-facing with two large sash windows. The house itself has a kitchen & living room combo; lovely garden; x1 toilets and x2 complete bathrooms. Parking permits are available from the council.

We've lived together in the house for nearly 4 years, and over the course of that time have become extremely close friends. In a slight end-of-era moment some are now moving out to live with their long-term partners, and we're looking for someone new who will slot in to the group. We each have our own interests, but love good chats, great food, or a pint at the local.

The rent is £1050 per month (bills not included) which is great value for the area, and the room is available anytime from the beginning of June. Bills typically come to around £150 per month (may increase) and include a fortnightly cleaner and wifi. Deposit is around £900.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, respectful of other people, clean and tidy - all the usual stuff. Please message with some info about yourself if you’re interested!
