I’ll be sad to leave this room but I’m heading abroad for a project so my loss will be your gain!
The room is bright and spacious with exposed brick on two of the walls. It came with the bed and the large wardrobe. I added everything else and will take it with me (happy to sell the desk if preferred).
The apartment is a large 3-bed warehouse conversion with exposed brick throughout the living room. There is an en-suite bedroom (Ronan’s) so you will be sharing a bathroom with one other flatmate (Lewis). The whole building was renovated last year so it’s modern and now triple-glazed.
Lewis used to work for SharkNinja so there’s plenty of his gadgets - an air fryer, robot vacuum, slushie machine, and a coffee machine. The flat is great for having some friends round in summer for food and drinks but we’re not a party house.
Lewis and I are friends from school, we met Ronan through SpareRoom. We’ve all got our own friendship groups but hang out together too at the pub or nights in. We wfh on Mondays and Fridays with a healthy dose of darts and Mario kart between meetings.
Bills aren’t included, they come to ~£150pp p/m depending on the time of year. The tenancy ends on 31st January, so ideally we can do a name change and move you over onto the contract and swap the deposit. A shorter let for ~3 months may be considered as I don’t know how long I’ll be away yet.
We’re less than one minute walk from the bus stop that will take you most places you want to go. We mostly Limebike as you can get to all major places in 10-20 minutes. Closest tubes are Angel and Highbury & Islington.
There’s an option to park off the street in the courtyard but it’s expensive. Otherwise you can get a permit from Islington council to park on the streets.
