Large Double Room in Gorgeous Highbury House!

General: I am moving out of my gorgeous, airy room in a stunning Victorian six-bedroom house on a quiet road. We are a group of young professionals looking for someone in a creative(or creative adjacent) industry to join our social household!

The room: Large, quiet double with Victorian fireplace with wood floors and period cupboard and shelves to alcoves. Sash window overlooking garden—double bed, and shelving unit included. (Desk and bedside table will be coming with me when I move!)

The house: A gorgeous 6-bedroom Victorian house with all its original features plus all mod cons (dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, fridge/freezers, oven, and hobs) and high-quality fittings. The house was refitted a few years ago, so lovely finishes throughout. There is a generous double lounge (fully furnished with dining table, tv with streaming services) and stunning landscaped garden with an outdoor artist’s studio, which you are free to use. Modern kitchen and diner plus two modern bathrooms make up the communal areas. You will share your bathroom with 2 other people.

The location: a tranquil and leafy residential road a seven minute walk to Holloway tube (Piccadilly Line) and 3 minute walk to Drayton Park overground. Loads of trendy restaurants, pubs, and supermarkets nearby. Highbury Fields and the buzz of Highbury and Islington are an easy walk away.

Current Tenants: You’ll be joining Amber (Architect, landlord’s daughter) Sapphire (Sculpture MA at RCA, landlord’s daughter) Tala (Copywriter) Jack (Environmental Media) and Morgan (works at Warner Bros.)

You: We’re looking for someone in a creative industry who is sociable but equally has their own circle as everyone in the house is fairly busy on different schedules.

Each room is let on a Lodger’s Agreement for 12 months with utilities on top (approx. £60 per month per person last year) Utilities are very low for the area which is a plus! Council tax is roughly £54 per month.
