Located just off the Upper Street, on a quiet and leafy street with one of the best views of ‘real’ London - landscaped communal garden with old trees, roofs of Georgian houses and St. Mary Church, landmarked city buildings.
The bedroom consists of a living and sleeping area. There is a dedicated space for a work/home office. In one section of the room is an Italian three-seater sofa which can be used as a comfortable single bed for occasional overnight stays. On the floor, there is a 100% wool rug covering most of the room. The south-oriented windows keep the room bright and offer gorgeous views. There is a simple yet well-equipped kitchen. The washing machine is a higher range of German brand Siemens. The bathroom is spacious and has two windows. The apartment is cosy and clean; you’d be living with a friendly professional who takes good care of the whole place and loves plans so you have extra plans in the common spaces. You could feel at home here, relax and have privacy at the same time.
The apartment is in Islington’s beautiful Canonbury, on a quiet street yet just a 2min walk from Upper Street or 4min to Essex Road; 10 min walking to both tube lines - Angel tube, (Northern Line) and Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line, and Overground). Situated within a walking distance to City, Shoreditch, Hoxton, Regent’s Canal, Broadway Market, Old Street, and King’s Cross. On the tube 8 min to Oxford Circle, etc. Islington’s local shops, markets, open gardens, restaurants, and bars make the area a charming place to live in. The landlord is a relaxed and fair academic professional who lives abroad.
A few important notes: The bills come for 180p/m per person. I don't have a council tax exemption for students. The storage space for hanging clothes is limited.
