Bright double in spacious Islington townhouse

We have a beautiful double bedroom available in our gorgeous Islington house share available from 8 September (though we can arrange earlier if needed). The room is on the middle and top floor of our three story Georgian townhouse, which overlooks a beautiful square, and come fully furnished.

The room has a double bed, large desk, chests of drawers, and wardrobe. We share a large living room and beautiful joined kitchen. You’ll also have use of our large roof terrace which is a sun trap in summer and has table/chairs perfect for summer BBQs, when the weather allows.

Upper Street is a five minute walk away, as are the Piccadilly line (Caledonian Road) and Victoria line (Highbury & Islington) tube stops. There’s also plenty of local bus stops to take you anywhere you need to go in the city. And Granary Square and the Regents Canal are a 25 minute walk away. All in all, the location is pretty perfect.

You’ll be sharing with us, three sociable girls in late twenties and thirties, who work in the media, art and drinks industry. In our spare time we like to cook, watch Netflix (anything from trashy dramas, true crime, to Oscar-winning films - we like a broad range), paint, keep fit, go to the pub (so many great ones nearby), travel, go to gigs or festivals, cook, share a glass of wine, or out to eat.

Though we socialise together a lot and are great friends, we all work really hard so are looking for someone who is chilled out in the week, down-to-earth, conscientious and above all, clean and tidy. If you’re a messy party animal, night owl, or don't take it upon yourself to take the bins out, this really is not the house share for you. Everyone is expected to do their bit to keep the house clean and a nice place to live.

Above all, this house share is our home, and we're keen to live with someone who feels the same, because it’s a gorgeous, fun, friendly and peaceful home, and we love living here.

Sorry, but we can only offer the room to females, non-smokers, and those in full time employment. Sorry, no pets, couples, or students.

The bills come to about £140-150 a month, which includes a weekly cleaner for the communal areas, some money in the kitty for shared stuff such as loo roll, washing powder etc, as well as council tax, water, gas, electricity, broadband, Sky, etc etc.
