Double Room - Kennington

We’re looking for a new housemate in our Victorian townhouse, just around the corner from Kennington Park and only four minutes from the tube.

Sadly, one of the boys is moving out to live the dream in the countryside, so we’re looking for someone to take his place. We’re a house of five rooms, currently with four boys - all gay, but anyone is welcome!

We like to think of Faunce as a home rather than a house share. We enjoy spending time together: watching TV, regular Sunday roasts, and the occasional pub quiz. All in all, we’re a pretty relaxed bunch. We respect each other’s privacy and space, but also try to join in when others have people around. We all love to cook and keep fit, so it would be great if you do too.

The house is set over four levels, with a huge kitchen that leads out to our garden. The living room is on the first floor and has its own roof terrace, which is brilliant in the summer for BBQs and drinks.

A bit about the room: it’s a double, but the smallest in the house. It comes with a bed and a wardrobe. With some creative thinking, a very small desk could potentially be squeezed in, but realistically isn’t suitable for someone working from home full time. The room has a dreamy big window and stunning morning light.

Bathroom: all rooms are en-suite in the house apart from this room and one other. So the bathroom is only regularly used by one other housemate.

As social as we are together, we’re looking for someone who also has an active life outside the house.

Finances: we split all utilities and have a weekly cleaner. This usually comes to around £150 per month.

Move-in date: 2nd March. Viewings will start in the next couple of weeks.

While we’re ideally looking for someone long term, we’ll also consider shorter-term stays.
